The Whanganui Regional Museum collection includes military arms, uniforms, medals, badges, equipment and souvenirs from the Boer War, as well as related archives containing photographs, personal war papers and books. Archives Research Services are available Monday to Friday from 10.00 am - 1.00 pm. Requests for access to other collection items should be made to the Collection Manager or Curator. Museum staff are also able to provide advice on the care and preservation of your family treasures.
