Jimmy's Top 5 Fantasy Series
1. The Riftwar series by Raymond E Feist.
This one takes the top spot over LOTR because I find it a more enjoyable read, while it doesnt have the scope of LOTR it has a lot more laughs.
2. Lord of the Rings by J R R Tolkein. nuff said.
3. The Belgariad by David Eddings. another really enjoyable read, that I've re-visited many times over the years.
4. Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. forget everything you have seen on the woeful TV show, this is much better.
5. Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan, I agonised over this choice as it see-saws between awesome and painful sometimes, but the good bits
are really really good.
