A fine day and the sea calmer. All but the worst cases of sea sickness come on deck. Regular training by platoons commenced. It is found that nearly half of the strength is required for ships duties consequently the value of the work is much interfered with. The routine for the ship is as follows. Reveille 5.45 a.m. Assembly 6.15 a.m. Breakfast 7-8.30 a.m. General Parade 9 a.m. till 11.30 a.m. Ships inspection 10 a.m. Dinner noon till 2 p.m. Parade 2 till 4.30  Tea 5-6 p.m.  9.30 Last post.  9.45 Lights out. 11 p.m. Lights out in saloon.
