Platoon drill in morning. Coy under S.M. in afternoon.

Company and Platoon training in vicinity of camp.  Other three companies musketry. Our Coy supply all duties and relieve employed men.

Church Parade. Usual leave.

Parade for Sir Thomas McKenzie. Address by him, and march past Sir John Maxwell. Whole division on parade in Church Parade orders.

Battalion mobilized on Quez Road. Inspection by OC. Brigade. A cold windy day but no dust.
