Morning Inspection by C. O. in square near Church at 2.30 pm. Battn marched to CAESTRE and entrained for new area. Detrained at WIZERNES and conveyed by motor busses to LOTTINGHEM arriving there 2.15 am. Coy. billeted in Cement Factory. Cement floors & very cold billet.

Battn moved per motor busses to HAZEBROUCK arriving there at 7 pm. Showery all day.

Quiet day. Battalion relieved by 1st Battn. Sherwood Foresters at 9 pm & moved to LE ROMARIN. Very heavy rain fell just previous to, & during relief.
