At 6.30 a.m. the various parties were transferred to H.M.S. Hibernia & Zealandia for breakfast.

Remained at Port Said till 5p.m. Officers allowed ashore. A dirty town but interesting. Sailed at 5p.m. for Alexandria. Everyone packing up.

A foggy morning. Still anchored in one of the lakes. Got started again at 10 a.m. An interesting day going through the Canal. Reached Port Said about 3 p.m. A very picturesque place.
