The Coy were relieved at 9 am by 17th Ruahine Coy and moved to Rest Gully, at about 9.30 pm. heavy fire broke out all along the line. Enemy bombarded Walker’s Ridge with heavy artillery and made a determined attack on that section of the defence, but were repulsed with heavy loss.
