We held a Muster Parade. Many of the men had no equipment and nearly all the uniforms were in Rags. Lt Morison left in the morning as Billeting Officer.

At 2 p.m. we moved back to FRICOURT, camping west of the town at Reserve Camp. The day was spent in reorganizing and paying the men and bathing at MEAULTE. Lt. Morison rejoined and also some slightly wounded men also Lt Jackson.

We moved up and relieved the 1st Brigade W.W.C.Coy. Took over Right of Support line at Factory Corner from 1st Canterbury. We were subject to a heavy bombardment going in and one shell wounded Chaplain Capt Cruickshank, Lt Morison & 2nd Lt Williams & 10 O.R.s.
