Friday, October 23rd, 2009We remained at Hobart until midday and then pulled out into the stream. We were out at sea at dark and once more well on our way to Europe as we thought.

In the morning we had a route march of all the troops off the ships that came in. It was frightfully hot although one enjoyed immensely being off the ship and stretching ones legs. We reached Hobart about midday after a very fine passage up the estuary or Harbour. The climate has been getting steadily warmer and we found the Tasmanian heat much above New Zealand Temperatures. No leave was granted that afternoon.
Another calm day. Usual routine. We are due at Hobart tomorrow.
