At 9 am. the Coy was relieved by the 17th Ruahine Coy and moved to Rest Gully for 24 hours.
10/1400 Lt Hardie. R.D. sent to Sick Hospital.

At 9 P.M. the Coy was relieved by the 17th Ruahine Coy. and moved to Gully in Support for 24 hour rest.
Lt Hardie returns to duty.

Very quiet day in trenches up till 11 p.m.
11 p.m. Again opened fire to cover movements on right & left, which was briskly returned all night. At daybreak subjected to heavy artillery fire, both shrapnel & common shell. Parapet considerably knocked about. Bombs were thrown by both sides & trench partially enfiladed by M.G. [...]

The morning was spent in cleaning up Camp and rearranging Company Lines. The reinforcements were inspected and proved a fair lot of men.
