Remarks: 3 pm. to Gully at Y. beach. W.W.C., H.B., T., Rua.
8.30 pm. moved to Reserve Trenches White Hub. Move complete midnight. Ruahine. down Gully. Then to Reserve trenches Y. beach. Then to White Hub  at 11.30.

At 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Battalion moved to Howitzer Gully as a Reserve. ¼ to 10. Conference of Coy. Comdrs. 10.10 a.m. moved to Walkers Ridge. Here orders were received to draw two days supplies and move to the beach N. of Div. Hqrs. This move was completed at 11.30 a.m.

Achaia arrived Anzac Noon.
Bn. Hqrs. minus machine guns Taranaki & Ruahine Corp. disembarked and landed on the beach a[t] Gaba Tepe the disembarkation was completed at 6 p.m. from transport to T.B. An early start was made with packing up. As cooking utensils were required at 7.30 a.m. breakfast also had to be an early affair. The Company moved off at a quarter to nine arriving at Campimento Station about nine oclock. After a wait of 2 hours we entrained about 11 oclock. The other companies Ruahine [...]

A warm cloudy morning. Other regiments moving out ahead of us, judging from noise in their lines. 
Tuesday January 26th 1915. At Kubri, 8p.m. We paraded at 6.45 a.m. 240 all ranks including attached, and proceeded to Palais de Kubbeh station about 1½ miles. We entrained at 8 a.m. and train was dispatched at 10.30 for [...]

Fatigues finished cargo. 10.45. Orders received to entrain by 11.45. Great rush but entraining carried out. Departure postponed till 2p.m. Return to ship for lunch. Train left 2.15. 1 Coy Aust. & Engineers also Ruahine Coy. Major Cunningham in charge of train. Arrived Cairo at 8p.m. Changed trains. Great confusion of baggage owing to misinstruction given [...]
